Hall County Government to present several Transportation SPLOST public info sessions

Hall County Government will present information about the upcoming Transportation SPLOST (Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) Nov. 5 ballot question at several Hall County locations throughout October.

“Our educational Transportation SPLOST campaign is the easiest way voters can learn about the program,” Hall County Administrator Zach Propes said. “As the ballot question is very generic, we want to ensure voters are informed before they reach the polls.”

All presentations are open to the public, free of charge and provide citizens with details on the Transportation SPLOST program and its proposed projects.

“We cover the projects that would be completed using Transportation SPLOST dollars, the breakdown of how funds would be allocated and, most importantly, we offer an opportunity for citizens to ask any questions they may have about the proposed program,” Propes said.

Sessions include:

  • Oct. 7 from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.: Drop-in, Hall County Government Center, 2nd Floor Training Room, 2875 Browns Bridge Rd., Gainesville
